STAD 3.0: A Sharper Bedside Screen for Aphasia and Dysarthria

The English STAD project has received university ethics approval and is moving into a larger-scale normative study. STAD 3.0 has been refined based on expert feedback, ASHA 2024 findings, and pilot studies with healthy adults. Key revisions include more sensitive command-following items, clearer manual procedures, and improved DDK scoring criteria. Recruitment is scheduled to begin in late June, and collaborators will receive the revised STAD 3.0 Manual.
